This little scooter can reach speeds of around at 28mph within a 60 mile range before it needs a recharge (that’s about the same as the conventional 50cc gasoline-fueled scooter). The bad news is a UK price of £3799, but I think it’s worth it. The e-Vivacity seems well built, it should have good dealer back up and comes with a four-year/25,000-mile warranty on the lithium-ion batteries. Can’t be bad.

E-Vivacity will complement all Peugeot scooter models that are still holding 4-stroke gasoline engine from 2011.

With a range of 60 miles and a top speed of 28 miles per hour – about on par with conventional 50cc gasoline-fueled scooters – the e-Vivacity seems the ideal machine for dense urban areas where high speed and long range isn’t needed.
